Obituary for Susan G. Rice
Susan G. Rice, 72, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Monday June 15, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
Born in Worcester and raised in Auburn, Susan was one of two children born to the late Robert W. and Florence C. (Staley) Rice. She was a graduate of Auburn High School, before going on to receive a Bachelor degree from Worcester State University. Most recently, Susan worked as a billing clerk for a dermatology office in Worcester.
In her free time, Susan enjoyed travelling, both locally and internationally; enjoying summers spent in Eastham and Wellfleet.
Susan is survived by her brother, David W. Rice and his wife Nancy of Worcester; a niece, Jennifer Doray and her husband Michael of Worcester; a nephew, Jonathan Rice of Framingham; and three great-nephews, Liam Rice, Adam Doray, and Jameson McLaughlin.
Services will be held privately, and she will be buried alongside her parents in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. The BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, MA is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
