Obituary for Paul A. Coderre

Paul A. Coderre, 91, lifelong Auburn resident, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in the comfort of his home, with his family at his side.

He leaves his loving daughter, Jaye A. Coderre and her partner, Michael Standring, of Auburn; his brothers, Eugene Coderre and his wife, Joan, of Auburn, and Homer Coderre, of California; as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Ernest O. and Agnes R. (Champagne) Coderre; and his siblings: Ernest, Agnes, Doris, Claire, Beatrice, Francis, and Sr. Mary Cyril.

Paul was most well-known around Auburn for his many years of being the face of Coderre Television and Furniture, and owning and operating his own car dealership, Coderre Auto. He enjoyed the auto industry and was extremely fond of Hondas, even owning several himself. Paul truly loved being in business and the art of making a deal. In his younger years, he had horses and ponies that he loved caring for. Paul enjoyed summers spent at Bass River on the Cape, especially on his boat and plane.

His family would like to give a special thanks to Paul’s caregiver, Jen McGraw, for her compassion in making his last few days comfortable and peaceful.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 (diabetes.org/donate) or to the diabetes foundation of one’s choice.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Paul’s family from 9:15 to 10:15 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester.
