Obituary for Patricia A. (Flaherty) Maskery
Patricia A. (Flaherty) Maskery, 79, of Bourne, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving children. She joins her beloved husband John Maskery, her parents John and Emily Flaherty, Great Aunt Frances Flaherty, sister Mary Anne and her husband William Geary
She leaves her devoted children, Susan Zamis of Shrewsbury, John Folsom and his wife Kayla of Easton, Robert Folsom and his wife Erica of Stoneham ME along with her seven grandchildren, to whom she was lovingly known as “Mana,” Amanda & Adam Zamis, Paige, Payton, Lynde, Sara and Alan Folsom: her siblings, Margaret Dwight and her husband Robert of Milton, and John Flaherty and his wife Candice of Yarmouth.
Patricia was born in Boston and was raised in Milton, graduating from Milton High School. She continued her education at South Easton Regional Tech School, where she graduated Class Valedictorian in the Nursing Program. Patricia worked for both Goddard Medical and Cardinal Cushing Hospital, totaling over 20 years of dedication.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, knitting, and baking and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia also enjoyed volunteering for Cape Cod Hospital, Cape Cod Hospice, the Bourne Senior Center, and attended the Shrewsbury Senior Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Pat’s family to celebrate her funeral Mass at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Church, 250 Reedsdale Road, Milton, MA. A Celebration of Life will follow at Port 305, 305 Victory Road, Quincy, MA.
