Obituary for George B. "BJ" Hibbard III
George B. “BJ” Hibbard, III, 59, of Oxford, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at home. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Wendy J. (Dominique) Hibbard, in 2021, along with his brother, Jospeh D. Hibbard, in 2015.
He leaves his heartbroken parents, George B. Hibbard, Jr. and Irene V. (Glennon) Hibbard; his adoring brother, Michael J. Hibbard, all of North Grosvenordale, CT; his nephew, Shane Hibbard, nieces, Heather and Autumn Hibbard; and a great-niece, Audrey Hibbard. He also leaves several close friends and customers, including the Zamarro Family, who were customers-turned-friends.
BJ was born in Worcester, and was a graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical School in 1981. He married his beloved Wendy in 1982.
He had an extensive career in carpentry, first learning from his father, and eventually became his own boss.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
